Ronald Followell

Followell, Ronald 6/18/1951 - 8/10/2022 Comstock On August 10, 2022, Ronald Stephen Followell (71) was called home to be with the Lord after a long battle with cancer. This world has lost a wonderful son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend and Heaven has gained an Angel. Ron was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on June 18, 1951 to Anna & Billy Followell. Ron graduated from Parchment High School in 1971. He then joined the Army and served from 1971 through 1973 living in Pfullendorf, Germany. Upon his return to Parchment, he worked 30 years at James River which later became Graphic Packing, retiring in 2003. Ron was an avid car show enthusiast and loved taking his 1986 Corvette and 1984 Monte Carlo to local car shows. He will be missed by the many friends he made though work, car shows and through his daily walks throughout our neighborhood. Ron was preceded in death by sister Patricia and brother Stanley. Ron is survived by his wife Brenda, daughter and her spouse: Tammy & Dave Lamons, son Tom Dillon, granddaughter and her spouse Erica & Nick Heuring and grandson Jake Lamons. Also surviving are his parents Anna & Billy Followell, brothers Ken (Lynda), Jim, Larry, Mark (Sue) and Cecil, sisters Carolyn Roberts (Shorty), Nancy Cross (Bill) and Donna Mott (David) as well as many nieces and nephews.
