Roger Croy

Roger E. Croy, age 85 of Kalamazoo, went to be with his Lord on November 17, 2025. He was born on July 6, 1940, in Comstock at the family home, the son of Roger and Clara (Nowak) Croy. Roger was a 1957 graduate of Comstock High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force. Roger was a manager at Arco Co., Production Rubber Products and retired from Consort Corp. On September 15, 1962, he was united in marriage to Jacqueline "Jackie" Carlson, who preceded him in death in 2020. He was an active member of Heritage Christian Reformed Church. He enjoyed golfing, traveling, camping, biking, and spending their retirement years in Texas during the winter months with his beloved wife Jackie, until her death. Roger adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was quick to join in any games they were playing. He is survived by his children: Timothy Croy, Tonya (Thomas Farshid) Jazayeri, and Tina (Charles) Combs; his grandchildren: Erika Smith, Heather (Sam) Jaquette, Katie (Koty) Hatten, Megan (Chad) Tucker, Molly (Chad) Westmaas, and Morgan (Rob) Brazinski; his great-grandchildren: Soffia, Brantley, Paislee, Maxwell, Amelia, Simon, Silas and John Lee; his sister Veronica (Stan) Carra; his brother Larry (Loraine) Croy; his sister-in-law, Betty Craven and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jackie and his sisters: Kenlyn DeVries, Darlene Vandenbos and Janice Croy. Friends may meet the family from 3:00-5:00 PM, Sunday, November 23rd at Heritage Christian Reformed Church, 2857 South 11th Street, where his funeral service will be held on Monday, November 24th at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Simon Tuin officiating. Family will greet guests an hour prior to the service. A private interment will be held at Hope Cemetery in Texas Township.
