Roger Baker

Baker , Roger Lawton Roger Lee Baker, 82, of Lawton, passed away Wednesday March 10, 2021 at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo. He was born January 10, 1939 in Manestee, Michigan, the son of the late Ferris Baker and Juanita (Steffens) Baker. Roger was a member of the Paw Paw High School 1956 undefeated Football team and is a member of the Paw Paw High School Sports Hall of Fame. Following high school, Roger served in the Navy. He retired from Graphic Packaging after many years of working in data processing operations. Being an avid sports fan, Roger enjoyed attending the U of M Football games and spending time with his family. Roger was united in marriage to Joyce Waite Baker who survives. He is also survived by his daughter, Linda Baker; son, Russell Baker and his brother, Patrick Baker along with many nieces and nephews. Roger was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Baker and his sister, Mary Ann Terry. Cremation has taken place. There will be no public services.
