Robert Schriemer

Schriemer, Robert 4/3/1933 - 10/10/2018 Orange Beach, Alabama Robert Nelson Schriemer, age 85, a native of Grand Rapids, MI and resident of Orange Beach, AL, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2018. God blessed him with two wonderful wives; spending 50 years with the first (Ardy) and when she passed, 13 years with the second (Linda). He loved them both dearly. He was a long-time member of First Baptist Church Gulf Shores. He is survived by his wife Linda Green Schriemer of Orange Beach, Alabama, children; Sheri (Don) Slot, Patti (Steve) Hollenbeck, Tom (Ellen) Schriemer, Rick (Laurie) Schriemer, fourteen grandchildren, twenty five great grandchildren, two stepchildren; Sam Green, Cherie (Brad) Holt, three step-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Robert (Bob) thoroughly loved his family and having them gathered around him. He loved all of God's creation. He loved to travel with a trip to the Holy Land being a highlight of his travels. He loved fishing, hunting and building or repairing things. He spent much time volunteering at Camp Michawana Bible Camp and supporting their mission. A Memorial Service was held on October 15, 2018 at First Baptist Church Gulf Shores, Alabama. An additional memorial service will be held for family and friends on November 17, 2018 at 2pm at Camp Michawana in Hastings, MI. Donations can be made to Camp Michawana in memory of Bob.
