Robert Rohrer

Rohrer, Robert A. Kalamazoo Age 83, passed away on Monday evening, April 5, 2021. Bob was born in Evanston, IL, on September 26, 1937, the son of James and Priscilla (DeWard) Rohrer. On July 9, 1976, he married Shirley Leist who survives him. Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Julie Rohrer; grandsons, Matthew and Gregory Chappie; brother, James (Thelma) Rohrer; step-children, Mark (Shelley) Hoogerheide, Paul (Mary) Hoogerheide, David Hoogerheide, Dawn (Charles) Fierke; step-grandchildren, Jessica, Stephanie, Kristen, Allison, David, Andrew, Anna, Austin, Kenneth, Elizabeth; many nieces and nephews; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Alex Chappie; sister, Dorothy Hartman; brother, Bruce Rohrer. A funeral will be held on Monday, April 12, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home, 917 S., Burdick St; Friends may call on the family on Sunday, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
