Robert 'Bob' Bertram Janvrin, Sr., age 86, achieved immortality at his Seneca, SC home December 10 surrounded by his family and devoted dog Gigi. Bob was preceded in death by beloved wife Pat in 2020. He is survived by his three sons, Bob Jr. (Kristi), David and Jeff (Gina); grandchildren Bob III (Ashley), Kitty, Brice and Win; and great grandchildren Stella, Ellie, Olive and Jake.

A US Navy Seabee CW3 veteran (Argentia, Newfoundland), Bob lived the 'Can Do!' motto and with wife Pat taught his sons they could achieve anything through learning, hard work and persistence. He was The Fixit Man - kids brought broken toys to be repaired at our home. Neighbors and friends depended on him for his honest advice and conversation. Together we built homes, repaired and restored cars, fixed everything fixable and had a great time doing it.

An accomplished Engineer with a BS from WMU, Bob has numerous patents to his credit working with Vickers, Hydreco and Danfoss. He remained an active member of Lions Club (past president) and Seneca Presbyterian church, served on and chaired SAE committees, was a Jaycee, and member of several car clubs.

A service will be held at Seneca Presbyterian on Monday, December 16 at noon.
