Robert David Oxley, 6, of Lawton, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020.

Robbie was born August 4, 2014 in Kalamazoo, the son of Keith Oxley and Nancie (Corum) Oxley who survive. Robbie was currently attending kindergarten at Saint Mary School in Paw Paw. He was always full of energy, had a big heart and giving hugs to all. He enjoyed learning new things and helping out as much as he could. Robbie loved outdoor activities, playing flag football, skiing and going to water parks to name a few. He always looked forward to playing at Gravel Lake in the summers and traveling with his family, especially to their cabin in the U.P.

Robbie is also survived by his sister, Emilie Oxley; grandparents, David (Janet) Corum and Ed (Phyllis) Oxley; aunts and uncles, Amie (Josh) Greig; Chris (Stacey) Oxley and Rick (Lori) Oxley; six cousins, Jacob, Kristin, Allison, Cody, Rylee and Natalie; as well as his canine companion and best friend, Boomer. He was preceded in death by his Grandmother, Elaine Koopman.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 25, 2020 beginning at 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Adams Funeral Home, 502 West Michigan Ave., Paw Paw. There will be a Rosary service beginning at 7:30 pm. Mass of Christian burial will follow on Saturday at 11:00 am at Saint Mary Catholic Church, Paw Paw, with Fr. Joseph Xavier officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Lawton. Please remember to wear a mask when attending services and practice safe social distancing. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be directed to the Robert David Oxley Memorial Fund.

The sudden and tragic loss of Robbie brings great sadness to us all. He was able to give other children the vital organs they desperately needed through the Gift of Life.
