Robert (Bobb) Erins

Mr. Robert (Bobb) Erins, age 63, of Grand Rapids, MI, passed away unexpectedly at his home on April 2, 2024. Bobb is preceded in death by his parents, Pavels and Johanna Erins, and his brother, John Erins. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Erins, stepson Patrick (Sofia) Barense, his stepdaughter, Tara Barense, sister, Slyvia Erins, and brother, Andy Rukliss. Bobb also leaves behind his step-grandchildren Zander Channel, Oliver Smith and Emory Smith, his nephew, Chris (Hannah) Blystra, and nieces, Michelle (Larry) Ecker and Lisa Blystra. He was employed at General Dynamics, formerly Gen 3. Bobb also worked many years at Borisch Manufacturing. He was a very devoted Detroit Lions fan, loved hunting, fishing, and working with wood. Bobb was a very artistic person. A celebration of life will be held on from 6-9 pm on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home, Alt and Shawmut Hills Chapel located at 2120 Lake Michigan Drive NW, Grand Rapids MI 40504. Potluck style food will be served; please bring a dish to pass. You are encouraged to wear your Lion’s apparel (or something blue) to remember Bobb and his love of the Detroit Lions.
