Robert Anthony Rogers, age 86, passed away with his family by his side, Monday, April 29, 2024 at Parkview Gardens. He was born in Hancock, MI, December 18, 1937, son of the late Fredrick and Ruth (Nee: Lorasch) Rogers.

On October 18, 1958, Bob was united in marriage to Ruth Ann Millenbah, who preceded him in death August 7, 2023. Bob was employed by Caterpillar Tractor for 26 years until his retirement in December of 1986. He was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church. In his earlier years he played hockey on roller skates. Bob was an avid Packer and Chicago Black Hawk fan. It was chasing his wife that brought him great joy.

He was loved dearly and will be sadly missed by his children, Jody (Randy) Van Wey, Janelle Rogers (Randy Saltys), Jerilyn Yost (Brian Hollis); grandchildren, Andrew Yost (Kaitlyn Hiemstra), Michael (Terilyn) Van Wey, Kati Rognsvoog (Mike Angus), Mathew (Kamryn)Van Wey, Kayla (Mikey) Nehring; 6 great grandchildren, Lukas, Kaden, Grayson, Lucas, Penelope and Dexter; brother, Thomas (Debbie) Rogers, sister, Barbara Mancl; other relatives and dear friends. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, Lee (Clarice) Rogers and his brother-in-law, Richard Mancl.

Funeral Services celebrating Bobs life will be held at the funeral home, 11:00am, Friday, May 3, 2024. Relatives and friends are welcome to meet with the family for Visitation, Friday, 10:00 until time of service. Private interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. A special thank you to the staffs and care providers at Parkview Gardens and Heartland Hospice for their loving and compassionate care.
