Ricky Eager

Eager, Ricky Lee 12/1/1954 - 4/14/2022 Comstock On Thursday, April 14th, 2022, Ricky L. Eager of Comstock passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 67. On December 1st, 1954, Rick was born in Kalamazoo, MI, to Deo and Marlene (Harley) Eager. He attended Comstock schools and had a career at Summit that spanned 20+ years. He shared six children with his first wife, Diane (Watson), and devoted much of his life to being an amazing father. Rick spent much of his time outside, flying kites and riding around on scooters and mopeds; anyone who knew him would say he was a kid at heart. He also had a passion for collecting owls and had accumulated an extensive collection throughout the years. He dearly loved his dog, Mimi, and spent every day with her by his side. He is preceded in death by his father, Deo Jr, his mother, Marlene, his brother, Scott Eager, and his late wife, Patricia "Patty-Jo" Donaghe-Eager (Ashley). He is survived by his children; Nicki Eager, Tracy Eager, Ricky (Amy) Eager, Tammy Eager, Sarah Eager, and Robert Moorman; his brother Dean Eager, and sister Dawn (Art) Goodenough; his grandkids, Brandon, Tyler, Kyle, Hayley, Katelyn, Sierra, Zackery, Dylan, Joshua, Paisley, and Oaklee; his great-grandchildren, Elijah, Melodi, Ella, Aria, Sebastian, and Lawrence; and plenty of nieces, nephews, and cousins. His Celebration of Life will be held on June 5th, from 2-5 pm, at 12178 Fort Custer Dr, Galesburg, Michigan 49053. He will always be remembered for being an amazing man, father, and grandfather and will truly never be forgotten.
