Lee, Richard Arlen Dick Lee 83, was born on September 9, 1937 to John Wilford Lee and Helen Bernice (Love) Lee. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 due to complications from dementia/Alzheimers disease. He was a patient at Bronson Commons Nursing Home in Mattawan, MI for the past 3 years due to a broken hip from a fall. Dick is a graduate of Kalamazoo Central. He was married on December 28, 1957 to Betty Henschel. They had three children; Garry, Dawn, and Patti. He was employed for fifteen plus years at Kalamazoo Paper Co., thirty years at Vista Business Forms in Oshtemo and ten years at Greater Kalamazoo Auto Auction in Schoolcraft as a driver. Dick had several hobbies and interests including fishing, league bowling, golf, and the Detroit Tigers. He remarried on September 6, 1986 to Marlene King. She had four children; Mike, Becky, Phil and Alice. Surviving are his wife Marlene of Portage, his three children, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; Garry (Tina) Lee of Kalamazoo and their children Autumn Moman (and her son Marquis) and Nathan Lee; Dawn (Norm) Blum of Sevierville, TN and their children Holly Blum (and her son Silas and daughter Lylah Belle) and Scott Blum (and his sons Tyler and Trever); and Patti (Bob) Geisenheimer of Portage and children Ben Buck, and Barbie (Gabino) Villanueva and children (Jordan, Hailey, and Canei). Also surviving are three step children, Mike, Becky, and Phil, eight step grandchildren, and eight great step grandchildren. Mike (Pam) King of Three Rivers and their children Shanna (Angel) Ortiz; Kate (Jeff) Coughran (and daughter Julianna); Amber, and McKenna. Becky (Kevin) Oldham of Allendale and their children Josh (Emily) Oldham (and daughters Arwen and Lorelei); and Maegen (Tim) Suess. Phil King of Three Rivers and his daughters Ashley King (and her children Laytin and Taylin); and April King (and her children Breeana, Jason and Samuel). Dick's parents and his step daughter Alice preceded him in death. There are no services planned. Dick was a donor for WMU School of Medicine Body Donor Program. Memorials may be sent to Hospice of Southwest Michigan, First Baptist Church of Portage, or Alzheimers Organization.
