Richard Edward Butler

Richard Edward Butler of Kalamazoo, age 89, died March 26, 2024. He was born March 20, 1935, in Kalamazoo, MI, the son of the late Kenneth and Hazel (Becker) Butler. Richard worked as a Facilities Manager for Graphic Packaging for 25 years. Richard was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, JoAnne Butler. Surviving are four children, Scott Butler, Jennifer Kirk, Blair Schwarz and Jacob Schwarz; grandchildren; great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place, and a private graveside service will be held at Mount Ever Rest Memorial Park South in Kalamazoo.
