Richard Borgais

Borgais, Richard W. Dowagiac Age 71, passed away suddenly on June 26, 2022, due to cardiovascular disease. Richard, fondly known as "Grandpa" to many, was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on July 20, 1950, the son of the late Chris H. and Annie (Baker) Borgias. He is survived by his daughters, Kathy A. Borgais and Melissa A. Borgais; son, Harley D. Borgais; grandsons, Anthony, Joseph and Ayden; sister, Linda D. DeLoof; sister in-law, Carol J. Conrad; nieces, Amy L. Baker, Kelly M. Borgais and Kimberly S. Bouma; nephews, Andy S. Curtis and Jon C. Borgais and several great-nieces and a great-nephew, all affectionately known as "the little ones". Besides his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his brother, Chris R. Borgias and his beloved grandparents and great-grandparents. A celebration of Richard's life will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022, beginning at 2:00 PM at Lakeview Park in Portage, 9345 Portage Rd.
