Rev. Roy Clark

Rev. Roy Clark, age 91, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 30, 2020. Rev. Clark was a faithful servant of God, serving in ministry for over 60 years. His priorities in life were a deep and passionate love for God and the Gospel, his family, books and serving people. Rev. Clark's life can be characterized by Galatians 5:22-23 which lists the fruit of the Holy Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Maxine in 1979. He is survived by his wife, Gloria; sons, James and Teresa Clark, Ronald and Diane Clark, David and Susan Clark; daughters, Lori Whitman, Karen Aho, Julie and Tim Murdock; 16 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard and Jean Clark, James and Joanne Clark, and Gerald and Nedra Clark. Funeral services are at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Calvary Church, 707 E. Beltline Ave. NE. Grand Rapids, MI 49425 in the chapel. Please use entrance C. Visitation with the family will take place just prior to the service beginning at 9:30 am at the church as well. Burial to take place at Fairplains Cemetery, 2056 Diamond Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505.
