Rebecca (Atkinson) Wagman

Rebecca Sue (Atkinson) Wagman, 57, of Temple, Pennsylvania and formerly of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away May 4, 2008 at Reading Hospital and Medical Center following a long illness. She was a 1968 graduate of Creston High School and had been a student at Indiana Tech in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Rebecca was employed as a technical service coordinator at Quadrant Engineered Plastic Products of Reading, Pennsylvania. She also worked for many years as a national product manager for Poly-Hi/Solidur in Fort Wayne, Indiana. In Grand Rapids, Rebecca worked as an office manager for WZZR-FM radio and as an executive at both J.W. Messner and Mendenhall-Jones advertising agencies. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward G. Atkinson. Rebecca is survived by her mother, Donna A. Atkinson of Comstock Park; her husband of 29 years, William G. Wagman of Temple, Pennsylvania; a son, Eric J. Dorais of New Haven, Indiana; son, Jeffrey E. Dorais of Leo, Indiana; as well as three grandchildren, Danielle, Cole and Cade Dorais. She is also survived by her brother, John Atkinson of Ionia; brother, Charles Atkinson of Grand Rapids; sister, Georgia Atkinson of Grand Rapids; sister, Jennifer Flammersfeld of Oswego, Illinois; and sister, Jamie Repp of Saranac, Michigan. There are also several surviving nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be Thursday, May 8th at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading, Pennsylvania. A Memorial Service will also be held on May 16 at 6:00 p.m. in Kleahn-Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Rd., Fort Wayne, Indiana. Calling hours will be one hour prior to service.
