Peter Panter

PANTER - Peter Dawson Panter, age 80, of Grand Rapids, died September 28, 2009. Surviving are his wife, Suzanne Meek Panter; children, Kathy, Annette (Dan), Simon, Elizabeth, Dawson (Kim), James, Adam (Chrissy), and Jesse; five grand-children and two great grandchildren. Peter was born in Desborough, England November 29, 1928, the son of James Panter and Florence Porter Panter. He was an influential figure in the international footwear industry spending many proud years with Wolverine World Wide Inc. Peter was, more importantly, a dedicated family man whose memory will live on forever through his loving family and friends. A private family service will be held.
