Peter Kremers

Passed away February 4, 2008 in Rochester, MN. Peter was born July 20, 1926 in Grand Rapids, MI, the son of Peter and Lina (Ruoss) Kremers. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Peter graduated from the University of Michigan with an Engineering Degree and later was employed as a Project Manager at the Miller Davis Company for 42 years. He was a life member of the Kalamazoo Elks Lodge B.P.O.E. #50. On February 2, 1952, he was married to the former Jane Tunner, who survives. Also surviving are three children, Steven (Deborah) Kremers and Barbara (Thomas) Gallagher, all of Virginia Beach, VA and Walter (Hilal) Kremers of Rochester, MN; four grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 1 PM at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 247 W. Lovell St. with Mother Beth McLaren, officiating. Friends may meet the family Friday from 5-7 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions in Peters memory be made to the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts or St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
