Paul Howard Arrick of Fine Lake passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 29, 2023. He was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan on November 27, 1937, the son of Howard and Elizebeth "Betty" (Hill) Arrick. Paul spent his childhood growing up on the family farm in Wisconsin where he shared great adventures with his siblings and cousins and was instilled with his strong work ethic. He graduated from Belleville Michigan High School then continued his education with the General Motors Institute, becoming a Journeyman Electrician. He worked at Fisher Body for a number of years, then retired as an electrical supervisor after 31 years with Kellogg's. He then went on to work with his son Paul Jr. at Kendall Electric for 15 years.

Paul is survived by his dear wife of 65 years Marie (Patterson). He is also survived by his two sons, Paul (Sue) Arrick Jr. and Dan Arrick; his grandchildren Kyle Arrick and Morgan (Mike) Meulman; great grandson Mason Meulman; siblings David Arrick And Mary Larson; a special brother-in-law Tom and wife Cheryl Patterson; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings.

Paul was a member of the Kellogg's 25-year club, a past-president of the Lions Club and enjoyed coaching youth baseball, basketball and football in Galesburg. He enjoyed golfing, traveling and spending time with his family at the lake and on annual vacations. Paul was a man with a big heart who could fix or build anything and was always willing to drop everything to help his neighbors and others in need and he will be truly missed.

Services to celebrate his life at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Richland Chapel will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, August 4th.
