Patsy Waldrop

Patsy M. Waldrop, age 72, passed away Tuesday, March 13 in Portage. Patsy was born May 31, 1939, in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Horace and Anna (Whitmore) Hill. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She enjoyed music and was a singer with Rem Wall and the Green Valley Boys, seen on local television for many years. Patsy was united in marriage to Kenneth Waldrop, who preceded her in death September 18, 1999. She was also predeceased by her parents and two brothers. Patsy is survived by her children, Randy (Gloria) Randolph, Julie (Jaime) Ojeda, Dennis (Diane) Randolph, all of Kalamazoo, and Debbie (Ruben) Chapa of St. Louis, MO; sisters, Betty Whitman of Kalamazoo and Bonnie (Sandy) Ferguson of Delton; 13 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and step-children Thomas Waldrop of IN, and Margo Scott. Family will receive friends on Monday, March 19 from 11:30 AM to 1 PM at Redmond Funeral Home, 4100 S. Westnedge Ave., 269-343-6156, where funeral services will begin at 1 PM. Interment will follow in Hickory Corners Cemetery, Hickory Corners, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for final expenses.
