Patricia Wallace

Patricia Wallace, 82, of Kalamazoo, MI, passed away on November 17, 2023. Born on May 4, 1941, in Chicago, IL, Patricia was a loving grandmother, mother, and friend. She harbored a deep love of the outdoors that was evident in her beautifully tended garden, where she found joy in getting her hands dirty. Her green thumb was especially apparent with her favorite flowers - her roses, orchids, and moonflowers. Patricia also had a passion for antiquing and enjoyed exploring garage sales and auctions in search of hidden treasures, particularly antique buttons and jewelry.

Patricia had a huge heart and would go out of her way to help others. Throughout her life, she maintained a philosophy of kindness, earnestness, and positivity, values which she instilled in her grandchildren.

Patricia is survived by her beloved grandchildren Ashley Roodbergen, Julian Edwards, Courtney Roodbergen, Reagan Howard, Lucas Myers, and Nicholas Howard as well as her daughters Lynn Roodbergen, Laurie Myers, and Jennifer Howard. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lorraine Miller.

A celebration of Patricia's life will take place, where we will gather to cherish her legacy of love and generosity. In honoring her memory, let us remember the warmth and kindness she brought into our lives.

The Celebration of Life will take place 12-3pm on January 27, 2024 at Henderson Castle in Kalamazoo, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kalamazoo Gospel Ministries, 448 N Burdick St. Kalamazoo MI, 49053.
