Patricia Snyder

Patricia Ann Snyder, age 64, of Augusta, MI died peacefully at home Wednesday afternoon, March 16, 2016 after a courageous battle against cancer and with her loving family at her side. Pat, the daughter of Robert and Jacqueline (Hillis) Davis, was born Kalamazoo, MI on June 8, 1951; was a lifetime area resident and a 1969 graduate of Gull Lake High School. She retired in 2014 after 24 years of faithful service as a Secretary for the Gull Lake Middle School. Pat was a member of the Radiant Church of Richland, MI, where she enjoyed serving in the Children's ministry every Sunday morning. She had a love for nature. Pat enjoyed her walks with her dogs and maintaining her many bird feeders in her back yard. She was an avid gardener and was constantly toiling in her flower gardens around her home, but her true passion in life was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Pat was united in marriage to the "Love of her Life," Gregory P. Snyder in Hickory Corners, MI on June 19, 1971. Surviving is her husband of almost 45 years, Greg; her daughter, Tammie L. (Brian) Coates of Richland; her son, Robert W. (Brandy) Snyder of Richland; five precious grandchildren, Andrew P. Snyder, Caleb S. Snyder, Makena B. Snyder, Madison G. Snyder and Hayden K. Coates; a special great granddaughter, Alannah M. Snyder; her sister, Judy Etts of Allegan, MI and a brother, Clifford (Diane) Davis of Ocala, FL. Pat was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Thomas Davis. The Memorial Service to celebrate Pat's life will be held on Tuesday, March 22nd at 11:00 a.m. at the Radiant Church, 8157 East DE Avenue, Richland, MI 49083, with Rev. Jon Zondervan, Pastor, officiating. Family and friends will continue Pat's life celebration with a time of fellowship and a luncheon in the Church's Social Hall. Final interment will be held in East Hickory Corners Cemetery. Pat's family will greet friends on Monday, March 21st from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Richland Chapel, 9170 East D Avenue (M-89).
