Patricia Rork

Passed away peacefully on November 27, 2019, at home after a long illness. She was born on September 15, 1940 in Allegan, Michigan to Robert and Sally (Yash) Wade. She married Phillip C. Rork in 1964. She was a dedicated teacher for over 30 years and taught 10 years at St. Augustine School then 5th grade math and social studies at King-Westwood for Kalamazoo Public Schools. She was also a devoted member of St. Monica Catholic Church. She loved to quilt and knit and used this talent to donate hats and blankets to several charities. Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband Phillip C. Rork on July 17, 1992. She is survived by her son Christopher & Kendra Rork of Portage, 3 grandchildren: Kaelin, Conor, and Kira Rork, Siblings: Kathy & Larry Larson of Paw Paw, Robert & Sally Wade of Lynchburg, VA, Rosemary & Henry Williams of Kalamazoo and Beth Wade of Houston, TX, Nieces & nephews: Elizabeth Larson, Shannon Landis, Michael Larson & Casey Wade. Friends will be received Friday, December 27, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at St. Catherine Catholic Church1150 W. Centre St. Portage.. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00. A luncheon will be held immediately following mass. Burial of cremains will be in East Cooper Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Foodbank of Kalamazoo and Saint Anthony's Wayside Shrine.
