Patricia Ann Schowalter, age 79, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 6, 2017. Patricia was born in Chicago, IL on January 8, 1938, daughter of the late Gerald P. and Bessie (nee: Tipps) Meyers.

On the 4th of the July 1959 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, she was united in marriage to Donald E. Schowalter who passed away on October 13, 2006. A graduate of St. Catherine’s High School, Cosmetology School and Medical Practice School, Patricia was employed with Dr. Walter Pinkus as manager and surgical assistant for twenty-six years. She was a forty-year member of the Racine Theater Guild.

Pat will be dearly missed and remembered always by her daughter and very best friend, Susan (Robert) Sigrist and their daughter, Julie Sigrist; son, Robert G. (Evonne) Schowalter and their son Sean Jacobson and daughter Anna (Stephen) Robinson and; granddaughter, Hailey Schowalter; sister, Mary Morang; special family, Mike (Cathy), John and Joe Wurster; sister in law Arlene Daniels and Niece Peggy Davis; best friends, Marlene Wilson, Gerri Baumblatt and Helen Kaprelian; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband Don, Patricia was also preceded in death by her son, Mark A. Schowalter.

She loved her family beyond belief, with family love as her main goal in life. Patricia always fondly remembered the good times with her husband and his twin brother, Dan, who were constant happy companions. She will be forever thankful to her daughter, Susan Sigrist who devoted much of her time to her, spending fun filled vacations with much laughter, always having a blast.

Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Monday August 14, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. with a service celebrating Pat’s life to start at 4:00 p.m. Memorials to the American Cancer Society or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital have been suggested.
