Norris, Ginger Ann Kalamazoo Ginger Ann Norris passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at the age of 55. She was born in Battle Creek on October 14, 1967, the daughter of the late Frank and Stella (Cowgill) Henton. Ginger worked in healthcare in various capacities throughout her career. She started as a paramedic with Mall City before transitioning to Bronson Methodist Hospital, where she worked for over 25 years. Ginger loved life and was a very kind and generous person. She was dedicated to serving her community and spent her time volunteering within many local organizations, including the ACS Discovery Shop and KPEP. She made it her personal mission to donate supplies to the participating community members of the WIC Program and the YWCA women's shelter. Her parents were charter members of Sandy Pines, where Ginger spent most of her summers. She had a passion for photography, a love of music, and she enjoyed caring for her collection of houseplants and rose bushes. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family. Ginger is survived by her 3 daughters, Megan Norris, Lindsay Norris and Stephanie Norris; former husband and father of her children, Mark Norris; sister, Jessica (Ken) Williams; brother, Charles Henton; partner, James Harden; and her beloved dog, Buster. Also surviving are many extended family and close friends. A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, January 7, 2023, beginning at 11:00 am at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services 3926 S. 9th St. Kalamazoo, MI 49009. Immediately following the service will be a time of gathering and a reception from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. Interment of cremated remains will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Centrica Care Navigators, Ministry With Community, or the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission, in memory of Ginger.
