Monique Lee Ann Crump, Age 41, of Orangeville, MI., passed away on Thursday (July 14, 2016) after a courageous battle with cancer. Born May 1, 1975 in Kalamazoo, MI. She was the daughter of the late Steven Maize and Bonnie Moore(Urich). Monique graduated from Delton High School in 1993. She was a skilled jewelry maker that specialized in glass bead work. A beautiful artist/painter. Her artwork will be donated to the Kalamazoo Art Institute for display. This beautiful woman had a love for nature and animals. Her favorite time of year was moral mushroom hunting season. She was a true free spirit who loved to travel. The island of Jamaica was a very special place she visited many times over the years. She fell in love with the people, culture, and their IRIE vibe. Her love for music inspired her to pursue a career as a lead female vocal artist with a local band. Buddhism was her religion of choice. Meditation was a daily part of her life. We use to joke that she had a memory of an elephant because she was a sponge of knowledge who enjoyed learning new things all the time. Our sister our friend was a true gem that was taken from us too soon. She will be missed, but never forgotten, and will be with us in spirit at all times. We loved you so much, Mo! Survived by (Son) Tupelo J. Troxell Of Indiana. (Brother) Nicholas Crump. (Brother) William Moore. (Sister) Jessica Bussing. (Sister's) Peaches, Goldi & Evey Maize. Survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Special friends: The Barrios Family & Debbie Fisher.
