Huff, Mitchell "Barney" Gobles Mitchell Byron Huff was the life of the party, a man that will be remembered for his outgoing personality, sense of humor and his kind heart. Barney was an all around avid outdoorsman and took advantage of all it had to offer. The summer months were spent fishing, canoeing and camping. He also enjoyed hunting and a nice round of golf and had a passion for visiting the various speedways. During the snowy winter months he would run his snowmobile around. Some of his other interests included bowling, knife collecting and maintaining his collection of diecast cars as he was a huge NASCAR fan. As a career millwright with Local 1102, Barney was an excellent craftsman. He took pride in his woodworking and metalworking skills. He made many items that he shared with others, he was known for his well constructed picnic tables. Barney was a loyal friend to many and maintaining those friendships was most important to him. He was an active member of the Paw Paw Eagles, the American Legion Post 49, South Haven, VFW Post 3030, Otsego and a 45 year member of Millwright Local 1102 where he retired after many years of service.
