Michael Lewis

Passed away Monday evening, September 28, 2020 at his home. Mike was born February 24, 1963 in Michigan City, IN the son of Donald and Jeannette (French) Lewis. He was employed for several years with CRB Industries as a CAD Operator and was a member of First Reformed Church of Portage. He was an avid sports fan, especially University of Michigan football. He loved watching his children compete in their various sporting activities. Mike enjoyed fishing, hunting, cars, and his truck. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially the time spent with his grandchildren. Mike is survived by the mother of his children, Michelle; children, Caitlyn (Luis) Rodriguez, Paul (Hannah) Lewis; 5 grandchildren, Liam, Elena, Luka, Levi, and Mila; his mother, Jeannette Lewis; brothers, James, Don, Matthew, Shane, Bob, and Scott; in laws, Nicole, John, and Bryan; his dear friend, Cami; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may meet the family from 5-8pm Friday, October 2 at First Reformed Church of Portage, 7905 S. Westnedge where services will be held at 11:00am Saturday, October 3. Please wear masks and social distance best as possible. Private interment will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the Michigan United Conservation Club (mucc.org).
