Mary Roberts

Mary Jean Roberts peacefully departed this life on Sunday, February 5, 2012 at Borgess Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born October 10, 1931 in Sagola, MI to the union of James and Gladys Bean. On July 14, 1955 Mary united in marriage with her sweetheart, Ernest Roberts and to this union, 7 beautiful children were born. Mary was a devoted wife, loving mother, thoughtful grandmother and trusted friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Mary leaves behind to forever cherish her memory, her loving and devoted husband of 56 years; Ernest Roberts, her 7children; Louise Taylor (Clare Anderson), Pamela Roberts (Tom Niedzielski), William (Sherry) Roberts, Penny Roberts, Michael (Patti) Roberts, Teresa (David) Ward and Elizabeth (Michael) Carriere, 2 sisters; Melva Kelley and June Fults, 3 brothers; Tom Bean, Fred (Rita) Bean and James Bean, 23 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; James and Gladys Bean. Although Mary has transitioned from this life, her legacy will forever remain. A service celebrating the life and legacy of Mary Jean Roberts will take place this evening, Tuesday, February 7th 2012 at 6pm from the Lutheran Church of The Savior, 3616 East G Avenue with Pastor Andrew Tengwall officiating. Visitation and viewing will begin at 4pm until service time. In accordance with Mary's wishes, cremation will follow the service.
