Obituary
Mrs. Mary E. Poll, age 86, of Holland, and for-merly of Fremont, went to be with her Lord and Sav-ior on Thursday morning, November 1, 2012. She was born on May 12, 1926, to Walter and Hat-tie ( Mast) Luchies in Fre-mont, where she lived un-til moving to Holland in 2002. Mary had been a member of First Chris-tian Reformed Church in Fremont, and Noorde-loos Christian Re-formed Church in Hol-land. She loved sewing, gardening, canning, and hummingbirds. On January 17, 1947, she married Bemis Poll and he survives her along with four children, Nancy (Jack) Mussel-man of Manville, Texas, Ken (Judy) Poll of Hol-land, Dave (Sandy) Poll of Holland, Steve (Lau-rie) Poll of Zeeland; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Eth-el, Agnes, Betty and Mar-garet Luchies, and Mar-garet Breuker; and by her brothers, Harvey and Har-ry Luchies. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Mon-day, November 5, 2012, at First Christian Reformed Church in Fremont, 721 Hillcrest Drive, with Pas-tor Ronald DeYoung of-ficiating. Interment will be at Maple Grove Ceme-tery in Fremont. Visitation will be at Yntema Funeral Home in Zeeland from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday, and at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funer-al Home in Fremont from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday.
