Died Wednesday evening November 20, 2019. Mary was born May 21, 1948 in Kalamazoo, Michigan the daughter of Donald and Margaret (Wolff) Phelps. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with Fields Fabrics for over 15 years before retiring. On November 2, 1968, she was united in marriage to Ronald M. Lowe who survives. Also surviving, a daughter, Michelle (Rob) Neville of Raleigh, NC; 2 grandchildren; Justin (Kasey) Lewis and Phebe Lewis and a great-granddaughter Dakota. A memorial gathering will be held 3-6pm Tuesday, November 26th at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services, 3926 S 9th St, Kalamazoo, MI 49009. Private burial will take place in Fort Custer National Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the West Michigan Cancer Center.
