Mary Kay McCrumb

Mary Kay McCrumb aged 89 of Richland, MI passed away Monday, February 17, 2020 at Vista Springs Riverside Gardens in Grand Rapids. She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Inez Butler. Mary is survived by her husband of 66 years, Luther; children, Michael (Tracy) McCrumb, Kathy Schreiber, Susan (Mark) Warkoczeski; grandchildren, David (Michelle) McCrumb, Stephen (Victoria) Barrus, Bryan (Taylor) Warkoczeski, Molly (Tom) Sorenson, Matthew Warkoczeski, Megan McCrumb, Elizabeth Warkoczeski, Ryan McCrumb; great grandchildren, T.J. Sorenson, Aubrey Sorenson, Luca McCrumb, Addison and Emerson Barrus; brother-in-law Dick (Dodie) McCrumb. Mary Kay knew immediately that she was in love with Luther "Jim" as soon as she spotted him across the dance hall floor. Sixty- six years later they were still enamored with one another and have a wonderful family together. Mary Kay was a wonderful cook, seamstress, and was very talented at refinishing antique furniture. She had an interest in her family tree and spent hundreds of hours researching her ancestry back as far as over 1000 years. No public services will take place at this time. Private family services will take place in the spring. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary Kay's honor to Faith Hospice.
