Marvis McCarty

McCarty, Marvis Paw Paw Age 81, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2020. Marvis was born in Galesburg, on April 15, 1939, the daughter of Russell and Sophia (Marshall) Parks. She was employed for 34 years at Doubleday Brothers. Marvis liked being outside. She enjoyed working in her yard and taking walks. She is survived by her daughters, Kelly (Derek) Durham of Paw Paw, and Kim (Art) Mulder of Kalamazoo; grandchildren, Garreck Durham and Hailey Mulder; companion and partner in crime for many years, John Walton; sisters; a special cousin, Nina Marshall, as well as several other cousins, nieces and nephews. She was looking forward to becoming a great-grandmother in November. She was preceded in death by her parents. The family is planning private celebration of Marvis' life.
