Hall, Martha Martha Lee Hall, 92, of Kalamazoo, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on January 25, 2023. Martha was born on December 24, 1930, to J.P. & Tennie (Layton) Puckett. Martha was born in Decatur, Alabama and moved to Michigan in her early twenties. Martha grew up on the family farm and knew from a young age how to put in an honest day's work. She is the oldest of what grew to be a large family of 12 children. She married the love of her life, Jack Hall, on May 12, 1967. Martha loved to fish and work in her garden. She had many house plants that she lovingly cared for. She was a wonderful seamstress, enjoyed crochet, and loved to travel. She would go to Canada every year with her beloved husband. If not in Canada, she could usually be found perusing garage sales, finding the best deals. Martha is survived by her children: Eston (Betty) Roberts and Connie (Ron) Bell, her stepchildren: Janet (Lee) Hendrix, Joan (Jerry) Bowman and Joyce King; her siblings: Jackie, Billy and David Puckett, Linda Johnson, and Deborah Ward; 8 grandchildren and 4 step grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and 7 step-great grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jack; her children: Alice and Wanda Roberts, Roger and Mark Hall; her stepchild, Jackie Harper; and her siblings Charles, Bobby and George Puckett, Doris Jean Rivers, Barbara Faye Vinson, and Pamela Jones; and granddaughter Ashleigh Campbell. Following her wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will take place on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at Boughton Cemetery at 1:00pm.
