Marjorie M. Tiller

Tiller, Marjorie M. Vicksburg Mrs. Marjorie M. Tiller, 89 of Vicksburg, MI went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday October 17th, 2022. Marge was born on August 11th, 1933 in Nanty-Glo, PA to the late Victor and Hannah Bensor. Marge graduated high school in 1952 when she then joined the US Navy. After completing her training in Bainbridge, MD she was sent to Lakehurst, NJ for her duty station as a dental technician. While there she met the love of her life Charles E. Tiller. They married September 8th, 1956. Marge is survived by her daughter Catherine Tiller (Don) of Vicksburg, MI; Grandson, Duane VonEitzen of La Jolla, CA; Granddaughter, Cassie Clock (Jarad Clock) of Olivet, MI; Great Grandchildren, Olivia and Devun VonEitzen of Vicksburg, MI and Makayla Clock of Olivet, MI. Her son Victor Tiller (Margaret Tiller) of Portage, MI; Grandson, Bill Tiller of Vicksburg, MI; Grandson, John Tiller (Chelsea Tiller) of Statesville, NC; Great Grandsons, Jaxson and Myles Tiller of Statesville, NC. Other survivors are her sister Hannah, brother Bill (Norma) all of PA. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles E. Tiller; her parents; and 2 brothers and 6 sisters all of PA. Marge loved reading. Amish novels and her Bible were her favorite, which she would read faithfully every day. She also loved reading to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Tiller will be laid to rest with full military honors next to her husband Charles E. Tiller at Fort Custer National Cemetery Augusta, MI on Monday, October 24 at 1:30pm. Friends may meet the family from 11:30am-12:30pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, 411 E. Centre, Portage, MI 49002. Donations can be made to your local lunch program for the children in need.
