Marion Drobny

Passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018 at his home in Otsego, MI. Marion was born April 20, 1934 in Oshtemo Township, MI, the son of the late Adam and Stella Drobny and had lived in the Otsego area his entire life. Marion graduated from Otsego High School and then went on to honorably serve his country as a member of the US Army where he was stationed in Alaska. After his discharge Marion worked at Eckridge and then went on to work for General Motors until retirement. After retirement from GM, Marion kept busy for many years working at T.M.D. What most people would call work were enjoyable activities to Marion, he truly found work to be his favorite hobby. Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Elizabeth; 2 children, Greg (Sue), Marion (Sheryl); 3 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister. Following his wishes cremation has taken place. The family will meet friends on Thursday, May 31, from 10 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial, 11 AM, at St. Jude Parish, Gobles. Burial will follow in St. Margaret's Cemetery, Otsego.
