Marilyn Martin

Passed away on Saturday afternoon April 11, 2020 at her residence. Marilyn was born March 26, 1949 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a daughter of Vern and Blanche (Barnhart) Oliver. She was a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and owned Rushmore Body Company for 23 years. Marilyn was a devoted wife, mother, and friend. She will be remembered for her generous and caring spirit, as she was a member of the Kiwanis Club of Kalamazoo for fifteen years. She enjoyed weekends on the lake, spending time with her dogs, and adventures with her family and friends. All those that knew her will deeply miss her. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ronald G. Martin, and her two brothers, Jim and Scoot Oliver. She is survived by seven children; Mindy (Myron) LeGalley, Todd (Jasmin) Page, Amelia (Tony) Mifsud, Roni (Ken) Cunningham, Teri (Todd) Oudemolen, Michelle (Ed) Martin, Chris Martin; a brother, Bill Oliver, and sister, Sally Hebert, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Private services and burial will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the Michigan Diabetes Association.
