Arins, Marija (Mary) E. Aged 96 of Grand Rapids, went to be with her Lord on Monday, January 26, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vilnis. She is survived by her children, Ilze (Alfred) Opas, Ventis (Geri) Arins; grandsons, Christopher Opas, Gregory (Alethea) Opas; six great-grandchildren; and other family members in Latvia and around the world. Memorial Services for Marija will be held on Friday at 2:30 pm at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Chapel (Kentwood), 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. Members of the family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:30 pm until the time of the service. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to Hospice of Holland or a charity of one's choice
