Jones, Margaret A. "Peggy" 7/11/1939 - 8/27/2022 Kalamazoo Margaret Ann "Peggy" Jones passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at the age of 83. Peggy was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia on July 11, 1939, the eldest of 11 children to the late Jacob Hugh and Ruby Bernice (Husk) Corathers. She worked as an accountant for Demmer Corporation and after her retirement, went on to work for Amerifirst Home Mortgage in the post closing department. Peggy married Roger "Koby" Jones on May 29, 1958, in Clarksburg, West Virginia and they were married for 39 years before his death in 1997. She enjoyed cats, reading, traveling, going to the beach in St. Joe with her family, and especially enjoyed her time with her grandchildren. Peggy is survived by her two sons, David (Lisa) Jones and Mark (Toni) Jones; six grandchildren, Jessica, Daniel, Jacob (Hannah), Thomas, Matt (Victoria), and Michael (Katie) Jones; three great grandchildren, Kate, Shaun, and Lily; siblings, John, Carol, Donna, Debbie, Teri and Suzanne; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and 4 siblings, Kay, Shirley, Robert and Tom. A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 11:00 am at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services 3926 S 9th Street Kalamazoo, MI 49009. There will be a luncheon and time of gathering following the service in the Langeland Family Funeral Home Reception Center. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Animal Rescue Project, in memory of Margaret "Peggy" Jones.
