Margaret Glenn

Margaret Ellen Glenn passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019, at her home. She was born August 3, 1941, in Albion, MI a daughter of Syndey and Irene F. (Carley) Binns. Margaret was an elementary teacher for the Galesburg-Augusta Schools for 33 years before retiring. She was a former member of Galesburg United Methodist Church and a current member of First Congregational Church of Kalamazoo. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents. On April 2, 1961, Margaret married James K. Glenn who survives. Also surviving are two children, David (Julie) Glenn of Galesburg and Margaret (Bryan) Gettel of Waterford, two grandchildren, Adam Glenn and Stephanie (Brent) Latta, two sisters, Carolyn (Bruce) Juergens of Galesburg and Elizabeth Buss of Battle Creek. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 17th, at First Congregational Church of Kalamazoo, 345 W. Michigan Avenue, with Rev. Nathan Dannison officiating. Private placement of cremated remains will be held in Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.
