Marcille Rynd

Died Tuesday evening August 2, 2011 at her residence. Marcille was born June 21, 1924 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a daughter of William and Gladys (Curren) Cronk. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with Borgess Hospital for 17 years before retiring. Marcille was also a member of St. Monica Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James R. Rynd in 1987; a step-daughter, Jill Rynd; a step-son, James M. Rynd; and brothers, Robert and David Cronk. Marcille is survived by two step-children, Cathy (Neil) McCormick of Texas Township and Dan (Linda) Rynd of Portage; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Cronk and Shirley Neal both of Kalamazoo; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held 11 o'clock Monday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th St. Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM Sunday. Interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan. 343-1508.
