Marcella Ackerman

ACKERMAN - Marcella A. Ackerman, aged 82, of Kentwood, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, December 10, 2009. She is survived by her beloved son, Major Raymond Ackerman, USMC (Ret.) and his wife, Kathy, of Pensacola, FL; her cherished daughter, Brenda Grace Rix, of Kentwood; grandsons, Kris Ackerman, Stef Ackerman, and Robbie Rix; a granddaughter, Carly Ackerman. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Leisel Ferdinand; nephews, Richard (Monica) Ferdinand, Harry (Petra) Ferdinand; great-nephew, Steven Ferdinand, great-niece, Jennifer, all of Frankfurt, Germany. The Funeral Service will be held 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 15, at Stroo Funeral Home.
