Lynn Brown, age 70, of Kalamazoo, went home to her Savior Jesus, on Friday, March 1, 2024 at Rose Arbor Hospice in Kalamazoo, MI.
The daughter of Louis D and Doris (George) Chamberlin, she was born on May 24, 1953, in Vicksburg.
Lynn had a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy and retired a few years ago from her work in area schools, where she helped many children with injuries and mental, physical and emotional challenges. Her students and coworkers loved her and she loved them.
Lynn attended Kalamazoo Community Church, and when in Oregon visiting her sister and family, attended Living Water Fellowship of Dallas,Oregon. Lynn was baptized there in 2022.
Lynn loved music and dancing, horses, gardening, and often traveled to Northern Michigan with her best friend SuzAnn, where both enjoyed the beautiful scenery and loved to kayak there. The two went to Ireland and traveled to the southern states. Lynn toured many areas in Oregon as well and loved the ocean and forested mountains. But more than anything she loved Jesus, her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Vernon and Beatrice Chamberlin; grandparents, Gaylord and Neita George; 2 brothers, Louis D II and Timothy, who died at birth; also several aunts and uncles as well as cousins.
Surviving is her sister, Neita G.(Steven) Trollinger (Chamberlin); and nephews, Mark D Burrows, Richard L Tyler, Timothy and Thomas (Ashleigh Marie)Trollinger; and her grand-nieces and nephews.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE service will be Saturday, April 27th at 11A.M., at Kalamazoo Community Church, 2435 N 26th St, Kalamazoo.
