Lynda Cutler

Lynda Louise Cutler (nee Chandler), aged 87, passed away on August 30, 2024, in Kalamazoo, MI. Born on July 21, 1937, Lynda dedicated her life to her family and community, serving as both a homemaker and a valued employee at the Meijer Pharmacy in Comstock.

Lynda was a lifelong learner, having taken nursing courses at Nazareth College. Her interests were diverse; she was an avid reader, enjoyed working crossword puzzles, and loved baking. Lynda was also a passionate fan of the Detroit Tigers, Michigan State University, and Notre Dame, and she adored her granddaughters immensely.

She was a devout member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and St. Mary Catholic Church, where she participated actively in church activities.

Lynda leaves behind a loving family: her children, Greg Cutler (Judy), Randy Cutler (Amy Cox), and Melissa Cutler; brothers, Michael (Jan) and Dennis (Carol); granddaughters, Erin Cutler and Stephanie Birchfield (Josh); and sister-in-law, Nancy. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Eugene Chandler and Betty E. Chandler, and her brother John.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 am, Monday, September 23rd, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with a visitation at the church at 10 am prior to the mass.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any charitable donations be made to a charity of one's choice in Lynda's memory.
