Luella Johnson

Johnson, Luella Joan 2/28/1939 - 2/6/2021 Bangor Luella Joan Johnson (81) passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at her home in Bangor, Michigan. Joan was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed going to sporting events for her children and grandchildren. Joan loved doing puzzles, watching Hallmark Channel, Monk and collecting frogs for her frog garden. Joan ran a home daycare, called substitute teachers for Bangor Public Schools, served in the school cafeteria and ran the Viking Club concessions stand for many years. She is survived by her son, Rocky (Shellie) Johnson, daughter, Cindy (Scott) Wixson; grandchildren Megan (Jason) Olsen, Andrew (Allison) Johnson, Brock Wixson, Molly Wixson, Trey Wixson, Andrew Lowe; one great grandchild, Isaac Olsen; her three sisters, Janet (Claude), Judy (Ned), Karen and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Norman, an infant son, her parents and two brothers. Cremation has occurred. The family is planning a celebration of her life on June 11, 2021. Final details to be determined at a later date. The family is requesting that memorials be made to the Norm Johnson Memorial Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 159, Bangor, Michigan.
