Lois Rogers

Rogers (Wilson), Lois 11/9/1936 - 9/2/2021 Sebring, Florida Formerly of Galesburg, Michigan went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 2nd, 2021. She was born November 9, 1936 in Kalamazoo, daughter of Leon & Lelah (Mikle) Wilson, and had lived in Galesburg most of her life until she and her late husband John moved to Sebring, Florida, permanently in 2004. Lois worked most of her adult life, and was employed with Galesburg-Augusta High School Office 1970-1992. She attended the Galesburg Congregational Church, and enjoyed visiting when she returned to Michigan. She enjoyed camping, cruises, reading books, crocheting, knitting, playing cards, and returning to Michigan to visit with family, and friends. She is survived by her children Steven (Linda) Rogers of Richland, Pamela (Brian) Snellgrove of Dexter, 4 grandchildren; Kyle (Kelene) Rogers of Galesburg, Scott (Amy) Rogers of Galesburg, Brandy (Ron) Watford of Pennsylvania, Sherry (Ruel) Beck of Virginia. 6 great grandchildren; Ava and Jackson Rogers, Canaan and Breckin Rogers, Silas and Ares Beck; and several nieces, and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, November 8th at Galesburg United Methodist Church, 111 W. Battle Creek St., Galesburg where friends may visit with her family from 11-12 AM. Pastor Jim Dyke officiating. Luncheon will follow at 1:00PM. Interment will be at 3:00PM at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta where she will be laid to rest with her beloved husband John. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to either Galesburg United Methodist Church or Galesburg Congregational Church of Christ. Envelopes will be available at the church.
