Obituary
Linda Zeter passed away on June 25th, 2026, with those who cared for her by her side.
Linda was born on November 24th, 1938, in Kane, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Cecil "Red" and Hazel Dorsett. When she was a young child, her family relocated to Lincoln, Illinois. She graduated from Lincoln Community High School in 1956. Linda was a hostess for Capitol Airlines and then worked in accounting.
In 1961, she married Leon Zeter, who was also from Lincoln, Illinois. They have two children, a son, Michael Zeter of Allegan, Michigan, and a daughter, Deana (Shawn) Harkness of Phoenix, Arizona. Linda is also a proud grandmother to Cameron Zeter of Middleville, Michigan.
Linda enjoyed knitting, quilting, antiquing, playing bridge, and playing the piano. She was an ardent fan of the Chicago Bears.
Linda enjoyed being a wife, mother, and grandmother. There was nothing she enjoyed more than being with her family.
Per her wishes, there will be no service. She has been cremated and laid to rest next to her loving husband, Leon, at Fort Custer in Augusta, Michigan.
