Linda Lancaster

Passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, May 6, 2020 at her home. Linda was born March 9, 1948 in Kalamazoo the daughter of Howard and Thelma (Mumy) Singer. She was employed for 46 years as a registered nurse with Borgess Hospital. Linda was very active with the Portage Schools especially the Mustang Association. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, walking the beach near the ocean, and spending time with her "Long Lake Girls Club". Linda mostly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family. On January 9, 1966 Linda was united in marriage to her loving husband Glen Lancaster, who survives. She is also survived by her son, Todd Lancaster; 4 grandchildren, Emily, Olivia, Ethan, and Zachary; brother and sister, James (Linda) Singer, Paula Kurkierewicz; and nephews and niece, Steven and Kevin Vandeville, and Tammy Vandeville. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Michael. Cremation has taken place at the Langeland Family Cremation Center. Private interment will be at a later date in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery.
