Linda Hart

Linda Havens Hart, 75, of Ormond Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on September 15, 2026.

Born on April 3, 1951, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Linda lived a life marked by curiosity, compassion, and deep devotion to the people she loved. She earned a master's degree in library science from Western Michigan University and began her career as a medical librarian. While working in the Detroit area she met Larry, her beloved husband and lifelong partner.

Linda and Larry shared 45 years of marriage. After her sons Alex and Ross were born, Linda worked part-time at Rochester Hills and Bloomfield Township public libraries in order to dedicate more time to her children. She was actively involved in their education and childhood athletics and took great pride in the men they became.

Family was at the center of Linda's life. She treasured the time spent with her husband, her sons, and her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Larry; her son Alex, his wife Christin, and their son Ian; and her son Ross, his wife Carly, their son Stetson, and their daughters Freya and Finley.

Linda and her family created many memorable experiences while traveling together. Their journeys included visits to northern Michigan, national parks in the western United States, and throughout Europe.

In 2019, Linda and Larry moved to Ormond Beach, Florida, where they made new friends and enjoyed being part of the community.

Linda will be remembered for her kindness, good humor, and intelligence. Above all, she will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, and a steady source of encouragement to her family. The memories she created and the love she gave will remain with them always.

A celebration-of-life service will be held on November 14th, 2026 from 1-5pm at:
