Linda Bradley

Linda Jean McKinley Bradley, 81, passed away Monday, April 20, 2020, at MediLodge of Portage. She was born July 2, 1938, in Cleveland, OH, the daughter of Leonard V. and Mabel I. (Avery) McKinley. She graduated from Chardon (OH) High School in 1956. She and her family moved to Portage in 1966. Linda worked for many years at Jewel and Harding's stores in the Kalamazoo area, where she was a friendly face to deli and grocery customers. She enjoyed crafting, antiquing, attending garage sales, playing Yahtzee, watching the Detroit Tigers, and reading romance novels. Most of all, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Linda leaves four children: Edwin Bradley (Katherine) of Grand Blanc, MI; Kathleen Bradley Harris Reiff (Howard) of Peoria, AZ; James Bradley (Lisa) of Vicksburg, MI; and Ian Bradley (Paula) of Marine City, MI. She leaves nine grandchildren – Lindsey Patterson (Joseph), Andrew Bradley, Logan Neesley (Sean), James Bradley, Michael Harris, Samuel Bradley, Avery Bradley, Gabriel Bradley, and Sophie Bradley – and seven great-grandchildren. Her sisters in Ohio, Karen Leonard (David) and Kristin Creighton, survive. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Leonard E. and Richard McKinley.
