Lela Haywood

Haywood , Lela Paw Paw Lela Yvonne Haywood, 84, of Paw Paw, passed away Tuesday May 11, 2021 at her home in Paw Paw. Lela was born March 31, 1937 in Lawton, the daughter of the late Albert Franklin Sampsell and Nellie Pauline (Hughes) Sampsell. Lela was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, baking, dancing, sewing projects and even fishing. In her earlier years she enjoyed camping trips with her family and traveling. Lela enjoyed trips to the casinos in her later years. She is survived by her three sons, Lester (Janet) Haywood, Frankie (Kelly) Haywood Sr., and Russell (Sue) Haywood; two daughters, Lois (Robert) Summerville and Penny (Jerry) Bohn; many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and many; great great grandchildren, along with four brothers, one sister, many nieces and nephews and her longtime companion Ken Osborne, Sr. Lela was preceded in death by her husband Lester Haywood Sr. Cremation has taken place. There will be a graveside service held Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery, Lawton. Following there will be a time of food and fellowship at the Paw Paw Eagles.
